Let’s continue with the reasons we become so vile on social media platforms.
Part One 👈🏿
The #WeTeam – Mfuata upepo
Listen sometimes if not most times the kind of shade you might find coming your way is not necessarily because you aren’t appreciated or because your positive isn’t a positive. It is just that it is easier to pile onto a negative conversation especially when it’s trending. We are out for the more juicy kind of topics and we all know most of us like the juice spiked!
As a result of our nature to fall into a pattern, we easily get sucked into discussions that we could just easily ignore and move on. Being on toes with the latest gist or scandal is the internet way of lifestyle and for that reason we have adapted as its frequent users. It’s a choice paralysis people we just can’t help but put our tongues out anytime something topless comes our way! It’s exciting!
Burning out ones candle makes ours shine brighter! (Fallacy)
Why do we all stay up late on Monday nights! If you don’t know you just won’t get it either so let’s move along swiftly! Bullies get to pick on others most times because when at that time you are fragile they feel they are on top of the world. It might be daddy or mommy issues but in the end it has an effect on the bully. The bully feels they have triumphed over their victim and the crowd was there to witness-receipted the action.
When we see others get beaten up about their and insecurities we feel that our own flaws aren’t as deep as the victims and so we join in. As a result the spiked juice feels so awesome when sipped so much so that we regularly want it. This results to the continuous vile being spat from our writings in the end it becomes our norm.
Fear of Change
Everyone fears change. Personally am I terrified of it! We are so much accustomed to a particular way of doing something so much that any slight change is meet with resistance. Recall the uproar caused when the platforms we spend so much time in try to improve on ways we can spend even much more time in them. Child let’s not talk about who, how or where a video or a picture is to be taken. It’s just so snappy that every bit of change is meet with WhatsApp?!
The fastest way of always trying to defend these very beliefs and patterns that we have solely subscribed to is by venting out. This is mostly negative as this is the only form in which word travels faster expressly.
So next time you trying to be salty type that comment sip your tea and get you some popcorn cause you know where you coming from.
