“Well I am not a hundred percent with the industry knowledge, but Google is my friend!” This is a statement that has always lighten up and broken the ice between my interviewers’ and I a couple of times. So is Google really my friend? I wanted to know because I wanted to stalk! Mmhh mmh child don’t even roll your eyes at me right now. Lord knows how you got yourself here. Let me guess you typed in the full web address huh or maybe not, but who’s judging?! Everyone should be able to have decent online stalking skills. Meaning your tea won’t be easily spill too. Become a thief to catch a thief. Touché.
My stalking guidelines!
Stalking yourself Googling yourself is like checking your credit report for inaccuracies: it’s only effective as a preventative measure if you do it thoroughly and routinely. Know your credit Google credit score! Whether you’re looking out for yourself or a friend (no judgment). How I do it…
Plunge into Google.
Try typing in Ater Dorine in the search bar! See what comes up that me! About a year or so there wouldn’t be much because I didn’t integrate and associate or even link all social networks that I am in or part of. Certain aspects of my digital life have also been scrapped off. Google gives anyone a chance to be able to paint their own online canvas.
It gathers info and possible similar patterns particular to a person. Google does this by automatically connecting social media networks that one might have been in or is in and websites that they have linked to their profile. As much as the internet never forgets, you have the power to still write and rewrite your past with it! Just be smart about it.
That in hand if you can specify exactly which Dorine you are looking for: the search would automatically be filtered. Try Dorine Pearls Agency. You will not only get my info but the agency’s info as well! Having a sketchy idea of who you are looking for will help Google lead you to the light.
Facebook.
The easiest way to find someone is through Facebook’s peoples search tool if nothing comes up on Google search. Facebook is the most popular social network, and it has the most robust people search engine. It’s metrics let’s you search for people by filling in one or more search boxes. Either name, hometown, current city, high school, college/university, employer, or graduate school. If you know one or two of these things about your subject, you can narrow down your search and then browse through the photo results.
Oowwhh well if nothing comes up then its clear you are searching for someone who’s stealth in the internet is not average. Consequently seeming lack of social media presence so try this… Try finding their friends or family members. It’s possible they’re hiding their account behind a fake name. So use the other route to get them on these platforms.
My update upgrades!
Be smart
You can’t go all detective without being witty! Simply put make connections!! Join the dots!!
Capisce!! {read as cah-peesh – Kapish!} neither did I know that too 😅 writing taught us tugeza 😁
Individual data points don’t mean anything unless they can be connected to other data points to make up a person’s online presence. Once you have several facts about your subject, you’ll need to use your brain to make connections and fill in the blanks.
For example, if you know your subject’s name, job title, and location, you can probably find their LinkedIn profile. On their LinkedIn profile, they’ve probably listed their undergraduate degree and when they graduated from college, which means you can work backward to figure them out.
Be creative
Ever heard about image search. 🤔 Yes pictures it can be searched!🤨 Upload that picture you have and let the internet interconnect the facial structure! I said I will tell you how to not show you how to … Google image for example is able to give you versions of the picture on the web. With image search, however images spit back might be now old online dating or social media profiles. Old is very key in that statement my people!
For those who are up to date with updates I believe you know where else reverse image search platform is key. For those who need an update, quick hit. When anyone especially women feel stressed they indulge in it as a form of therapy. It might cost a little more than professional therapy sessions, but it works magic.
If you won’t make your digital foot print hard to trace, at least make it interesting enough to follow through. Someone will always be watching, stalking: give them a reason to scroll down research! Enjoy your creepy time decently.
